CHENG KUANG PHARMACEUTICAL × Taipei 101 Run Up
Conquering the Clouds: Cheng Kuang Pharmaceutical Proudly Supports the Taipei 101 Charity Run Up

On May 9, runners from around the world gathered for the Taipei 101 Run Up, one of Asia’s most iconic vertical races. The challenge: 88 floors, 2,046 steps, and 390 meters of vertical ascent.
One of the event's most inspiring moments came from Taipei 101 Chairwoman, Ms. Chia Yung-Chieh, who completed the race wearing a full set of firefighter gear weighing approximately 7 kg. Finishing in just 30 minutes and 20 seconds, she exceeded all expectations while paying tribute to the firefighters who protect our communities every day.

Three Keys to a Strong Finish
Warm Up Before You Climb
Prepare your body with dynamic movements such as ankle circles, squats, lunges, and light jogging. Activating your hips and legs before the race helps improve performance and reduce injury risk.
Pace Yourself
The Taipei 101 Run Up is a test of endurance, not speed. Start conservatively, find a sustainable rhythm, and avoid stopping during the climb. Small, steady steps will take you further than an early sprint.
Recover the Right Way
After reaching the top, keep walking for a few minutes, stretch your calves and thighs, and replenish fluids and electrolytes. Proper recovery helps reduce muscle soreness and restore mobility.
Powered by Determination, Supported by Cheng Kuang
To help participants stay comfortable throughout the challenge, Cheng Kuang provided its Muscle Relief Spray and Essential Oil Relief Patches as part of the event experience, supporting muscle recovery before and after the race.
The Taipei 101 Run Up is more than a competition—it is a celebration of perseverance, courage, and community spirit.
Leave the soreness to Cheng Kuang. Keep the achievement for yourself.
